Our Mission

Northside Common Ministries' (NCM) mission answers Jesus Christ's call to "feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and receive the stranger," and the prophet's call '' to "do justice, love kindness and walk humbly with God."

Statistics

     This past year, Northside Common Ministries served:

480 homeless men in our emergency shelter

        - each man is given the opportunity to access clothing, meals, toiletries, medical attention, psychological support, one-on-one case management, support groups, spirituality groups, employment support and training opportunities.

                    12,912  low-income individuals received food at the Community Food Pantry

        - each low-income qualified person is eligible to receive one week of food each month of the year.  Case management support is available at the pantry for those who are interested in connecting with other service providers for additional assistance with problems they are confronting.

(Of those who were served at the Pantry:)

-  50% were very low-income families with children

-  40% were frail elderly or disabled individuals
